SAN ANTONIO – A burst of bullets south of San Antonio left one man dead and another hospitalized in critical condition.
Authorities reported that the incident occurred this Wednesday, around 11:00 pm, at Southwest Military, under the Highway 35 bridge.
According to a preliminary report, the bullets managed to hit a nearby restaurant where several people, including children, were eating.
As indicated, the driver of a pickup truck was trying to turn left when, for reasons still unknown, he approached two individuals in their 20s who were under this bridge.
Later, an argument broke out and the suspect pulled out a gun and began firing.
Authorities added that after speaking with some witnesses, the suspect is believed to have fled the scene in a silver or white van.
No remains related to this case have yet been made. The identity of the deceased or the man who was seriously injured has not been revealed either.
