Altercation between two players at RC Toulon: No dismissal is planned!

This Monday, the site Le Rugbynistère tells us that an altercation took place between two players from the Rugby Club Toulonnais, last week.

It was during the mini-training organized near Saint-Tropez, just before the match against LOU Rugby, that two players from Var would have come to blows.

According to The Rugbynistryit was in the evening from Wednesday to Thursday, during a free time left to the players to make plays that the situation would have degenerated somewhat between two forwards of the RCT, namely Lopeti Timani and Julien Ory.

The tone would have risen and exchanges of blows would have taken place between the two men.

Still according to the same source, the two RC Toulon players have been laid off and should be fired by the club’s management.

Contacted by us, the leaders of the Rugby Club Toulonnais did not deny the existence of an altercation.

On the other hand, the Varois club has formally denied any layoff and / or dismissal. And for good reason, Lopeti Timani was present at training on Monday afternoon. The former Rochelais is in the recovery phase and should be able to return to competition very soon.

For his part, Julien Ory was not present at the training session as he is currently treating an elbow injury. One thing is certain: his future at the RCT is in no way in question, he who is under contract until June 2024.
