If Alsou’s representatives prepare an appeal, they will still have to arrest Abramov in the UK to deliver the document. Only then, Dobrovinsky emphasized, will the case begin to be discussed in a court in London.
“The situation is similar to the court case Berezovsky v. Abramovich. In 2007, Berezovsky caught Abramovich in London at the Hermes store, throwing a call at his feet. According to British law, in such a situation the summons is considered to have been issued,” said TK.
