Alsace in the spotlight in the Marianne d’Or awards

The competition which rewards the best personalities and local political initiatives, the Marianne d’Or, has rewarded Alsace on several occasions for its 36th edition.

Alsace has been awarded several Marianne d’or in 2020. The Marianne d’Or for Health and Solidarity recognized the work of several Alsatian hospitals.

Christophe Gautier, Director of Strasbourg University Hospitals, Corinne Krencker, Director of the Mulhouse-Sud Alsace Regional Hospital Group and Christine Fiat, Director of Colmar Civil Hospitals, all received this award alongside other directors of Hospitals in the Grand -East.

Nabil Bennacer, Managing Director of Alsace Habitat, received the Marianne d’Or from Local Democracy. This award recognizes the work carried out at the level of the “Les Ecrivains” district in Strasbourg where participatory democracy has been strongly emphasized. On the program: citizen advice, solidarity concierge service and games library.

On the other hand, the president of the Grand-Est region, Jean Rottner, also received a prize, that of the Marianne d’or de la Solidarité. The civic competition welcomes his initiative to have resumed his white coat when the health crisis began.
