The recently known data leak on Facebook is apparently due to the abuse of a function in 2019. As the social network announced, the gap was filled shortly after the problem occurred. “As a result of the measures we have taken, we are confident that the specific vulnerability that made it possible to get this data in 2019 no longer exists,” said Facebook in a blog post.
