In its press release, the Ministry of the Interior reveals that of the nine bodies found, the remains of “ Jacques MBA Eya, aged 13, student, living in the Pompidou city; Obame Abaga, aged 14, student, resident in Awendjé; Keurly Pendi Tebeu, aged 15, student in 5th grade; Branly Pendi Massala, aged 16, 5th grade student, all Gabonese nationals » have been identified. Indeed, since March 10, 2024, Gabon’s marine coastline has been experiencing tidal increases linked to climate change.
