Already have 14 sons, this husband and wife are happy to finally have their 15th daughter

LAKEVIEW, KOMPAS.com – A husband and wife who have many children now welcome their 15th child who is of a different gender from the previous 14 children.

Reporting from Associated Press (AP), Jay and Kateri Schwandt (both 45 years old) are finally blessed daughter which they named Maggie Jayne and was born on Thursday (12/11/2020).

Maggie Jayne is the youngest child and is female. He has 14 older siblings and all of them are male.

Jay Schwandt and his wife said they were “very excited to have Maggie Jayne around.”

“This year is going to be a memorable year in many ways, for many reasons, but Maggie is the greatest gift we’ve ever imagined,” Jay told the Detroit Free Press after his daughter was born at Mercy Health Saint Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids.

The Schwandts family has been recognized by local and national media for years as their family members continue to grow.

The family has a livestreaming program called ’14 Outdoorsmen ‘which they look like they should replace.

Their oldest child, Tyler Schwandt, 28, said his parents thought they might not have a daughter after giving birth 14 boys.

“I don’t even know if my mom has pink clothes, or anything,” said Tyler, who is already engaged to be married. Tyler recently bought a house 20 minutes away from his parents’ house.

Tyler’s parents, the Schwandts’ couple, started dating at a young age, attending Gaylord High School and Gaylord St., respectively. Mary’s.

The couple had been married since 1993, before entering the campus at Ferris State University and before they graduated, they already had 3 children.

The husband and wife held high academic degrees even as their children grew up. Kateri has a master’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University, while Jay, who works as a lawyer and land surveying business owner, has a law degree from the Thomas M Cooley School of Law at Western Michigan University.
