Already $13 Million in Bitcoin and Ethereum Donated to Ukraine » Crypto Insiders

A tragic armed conflict is currently taking place in Eastern Europe. Russia fell a a few days ago neighboring Ukraine and the world reacted with shock. For a while it seemed that Ukraine would have no chance of offering significant resistance to the Russian occupier, but nothing could be further from the truth. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are performing well above par and are receiving financial support from all quarters, including the crypto community.

Call to crypto community

Ukraine desperately needs financial resources to continue the fight against the Russian occupiers. In addition to the support that Western countries offer, Ukraine has also made an appeal to the crypto community. A message was posted on the country’s official Twitter account in which two wallet addresses were shared where people can make crypto donations.

It turns out that the support from the crypto community is huge. In just a few days, more than $13 million was donated to Ukraine by the crypto community in the form of bitcoin (BTC) on ethereum (ETH).

The world seems unanimous in its disapproval of Russian aggression and support for the Ukrainian people. The fact that cryptocurrencies are donated on a large scale shows once again that the crypto industry can indeed have great value.

crypto donations

Earlier it was announced that millions have also been donated to some prominent non-governmental organizations (NGO) in Ukraine. One research by Elliptic released a few days ago that more than $4 million worth of cryptocurrencies has already been donated to organizations in Ukraine through crypto crowdfunding.

It is said that not only Ukraine receives many donations. The Russian camp also receives a lot of crypto donations. For that reason, donating cryptocurrencies to two warring parties is seen as worrisome by governments. Crowdfunding a war can of course cause major problems.
