Cristiano Ronaldo continue to approach the national team’s goal record Ali Daei. CR7 has now made 104 goals, only five goals adrift of the historical record of the Iranian legend.

One of them is his goal record in the national team. Ronaldo is currently the second sharpest footballer for the national team, after Ali Daei.

One goal makes Cristiano Ronaldo now has a record of 104 goals in the Portuguese national team. That number is the second most inscribed by a footballer in history, only losing to the record of 109 goals owned by Ali Daei, Iranian football legend.
With five more goals, it is not impossible for Ronaldo to chase Ali Daei’s record, even overtaking him. Moreover, that opportunity can be realized at the Euro 2020 event, which will be held on 11 June-11 July 2021.
