Already 100 years old, this McDonald’s employee is reluctant to retire. Page all

IRWIN, KOMPAS.com – An officer McDonald’s in Pennsylvania, USA, admits that he doesn’t want to pension even though its age reaches 100 years.

Ruth Shuster worked at the branch restaurant in Irwin for 27 years, which means she’s been in since she was 73.

The woman whose birthday was on Wednesday (3/3/2021) admitted that she was happy with the part-time job.

While working at McDonald’s, Shuster said he clears tables and welcomes arriving customers.

Rumored Triblive, Ruth celebrates 100 years of her life with family, friends, and restaurant staff.

The branch staff dressed her in a red robe, and introduced her as Ruth Shuster’s bobblehead doll.

In addition to the staff, McDonald’s management, including executives, congratulated him on advancing age.

In one video, mascot Ronald McDonald sings You Are My Sunshine, which was popular in the mid-1940s.

Reported Daily Mirror Thursday (4/3/2021), Ruth often sings the song with her coworkers every Friday.

“No, I will not retire. I like it here. I like my job because I meet people,” he said.

The day before his birthday, Ruth told WTAE that for him, 100 years of age is just a number.

She admits that she has been working since her husband died 50 years ago, and admits that she is happy to do it.

“I’ve never had a lot of money. However, what I have is enough. That’s how I live it,” he said.

Michael Delligatti as the owner of the franchise where Ruth worked, said that customers were lining up to be served by him.

“Ruth is a special woman. If you don’t know her, she will make it look like you’ve known her for life.”
