The test took place on the Nurburgring Nordschleife track, the Green Hell where most manufacturers go to test the cars that are about to be launched. In the first part of the video, we see the F1 driver get behind the wheel complete with overalls and helmet, ready to test the new jewel. According to the video description, the car should be the A110 RS or the Trophy, but it is in any case a sports model, as can be understood from its shapes that are reminiscent of a racing car. According to what was reported by the channel, Ocon lapped in 7’18”77, improving by around 40 seconds what the old model did in 2020, confirming a huge step forward in terms of performance.
From a technical point of view, we know practically nothing about this car. They change the bumper area with new larger air intakes, with an adjustable rear spoiler at the rear. The new Alpine should be officially presented in a few months, and only then will we know more about it from a technical point of view.
