According to Autocar.co.uk, the company’s future was recently discussed at the Electropop event by its boss Luca de Meo. He admitted that the first electric version of Alpine would arrive on the market in 2024. And it was during this event that the carmaker showed the silhouettes of three new models.

According to behind-the-scenes reports, this is the direct successor to the current single A110 model, on which Alpine is working with Lotus and the car should share a common sports platform.

The second car should be a sharp electric hatchback standing on the CMF-BEV platform. This should probably be a sharp version modern electric car Renault 5. With its proportions and rear spoiler, it resembles the legendary version of the Turbo from the eighties.

The third partially introduced alpine should be a large coupe, the so-called GT car, which could directly compete in the market with the Audi E-Tron GT or Porsche Taycan. The car should stand on the CMF-EV platform from Renault, which is designed for medium and large vehicles. At the same time, this foundation is ready for the use of high-capacity batteries and powerful power units.

According to Autocar, De Meo did not specify which of the three models will be introduced first. But if we could think a little analogously, in reality, a sharp hatchback could prove to be the first, depending on the launch of the new Renault 5.
