The French Ministry of the Interior has ordered a total of 26 sports cars Alpine A110. It is serving the Gendarmerie Nationale, the French police force responsible for rural areas and small towns with less than 20,000 inhabitants.

It is also worth mentioning the surcharge for larger 18-inch bikes, because the standard of the French sports car is seventeen. The French gendarmerie expects to use cars during high-speed chases, for example during narcotics operations.

The sports car is slightly over a ton and is driven forward by a 1.8-liter supercharged four-cylinder with 185 kW (252 hp) and 320 newton meters of torque. He accelerates to 100 in 4.5 seconds and manages to continue calmly up to 250 km / h. And there is already speculation as to whether the number of service alpines will not grow in the future.
