The design changes keep the same line as the BMW version, which means new lights, radiator grille and bumpers. As usual, Alpina supplies, in addition to its own wheels and distinctive stickers, a slightly different design, especially in the area of bumpers.

In the cab we find curved displays, identical to the modernized Series 3. However, the difference compared to BMW are the colors in them, which the carmaker reprogrammed to its own, characteristic blue and green.

The important thing during the facelift took place under the hood of the B3 petrol version, whose in-line six-cylinder has modified turbine turbine parts, a larger intercooler for compressed air and optimized air ducts. The eight-speed automatic transmission got a better torque converter.

The result is 495 hp and 730 Nm of torque, an increase of 33 hp and 30 Nm. Acceleration to a hundred sedans takes 3.6 seconds and the top speed is 305 km / h, the station wagon is one tenth and 3 km / h slower.

All versions have all-wheel drive and a self-locking rear differential. Fuel consumption according to the WLTP cycle is also known. Alpina B3 should consume 10.1 l / 100 km, for D3 S it should be 6.9 l / 100 km.

Of course, the suspension, stabilizers and stops are different from the BMW versions. The cars also received a new steering calibration.

German prices are already known, starting at 88,600 euros (2.19 million crowns) for the B3 sedan and 89,900 euros (2.22 million crowns) for the B3 Touring.
