This time, the results of the tender for the support of village civil organizations announced on July 31, 2023 were announced.
In this way, 1,405 winning organizations operating in villages receive support for real estate, equipment acquisition, program organization and vehicle purchase.
The government commissioner emphasized that the civil organizations operating in the villages “carry out irreplaceable activities”, they represent culture, sports, the preservation of traditions at the local level, or they work for the safety, health preservation and support of the people living in the villages as “engines of community life”.
That is why the government decided in 2020 to support their operation through the Hungarian village program, so HUF 23 billion was allocated to small settlement NGOs in four years to achieve their goals, within the framework of 7,400 winning tenders
