Fernando Alonso must report to the race management of the at 4:15 PM Dutch time Turkish Grand Prix, due to an incident in the opening phase of qualifying.
Alonso has been doing good business all weekend in Turkey. The Alpine driver clocked the ninth fastest time (VT1) and seventh time (VT2) during the free practice sessions on Friday. On Saturday morning he managed to win a spot and set the sixth fastest time. He was able to repeat this trick flawlessly during qualifying on Saturday afternoon, putting himself in a good starting position. Due to the motor grid penalty of Lewis Hamilton he can start on Sunday from fifth place.

However, it remains to be seen whether Alonso himself will not receive a grid penalty. The Spaniard is accused of not reacting adequately to the double yellow flags in the opening phase of qualifying. He must therefore report to the race management at 4:15 PM Dutch time (5:15 PM local time) to tell his story.
