JawaPos.com – Samsung’s name in the PC device industry is not as good as it once was. Several years ago, Samsung was quite well known for its drive in the PC and laptop market, even for the Indonesian region.
Now, rumors that Samsung will become stable again in this segment are blowing hard. This was announced as Samsung is said to launch the next generation of Galaxy Book laptops alongside the Galaxy S23 series.
Samsung itself is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 series on February 1st. The launch event features the launch of three Galaxy S23 series smartphones and several new accessories.
So, along with these gadgets, it seems that Samsung will also launch the next generation of Galaxy Book laptops. The report comes from SamMobile who claims that Samsung’s next high-end laptop has better specs and software features, better than the current Galaxy Book 2 series.
There is speculation that the laptop may be powered by a 13th generation Intel processor. The spec details of the laptop are yet to be revealed, however, we can take a look at the current generation of Galaxy Book to get an idea of what to expect.
Specifications of Galaxy Book2 Pro, Galaxy Book2 Pro 360
As for the specs, currently the Galaxy Book 2 Pro has a screen that measures 13.3 inches, while the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360’s screen measures 15.6 inches. Both devices have a 16:9 aspect ratio. Both devices have AMOLED screens with Full HD resolution and brightness of 400 nits for normal viewing. When viewing HDR content, the brightness can go up to 500 nits.
The 13.3-inch model weighs 1.04 kg, while the 15.6-inch model weighs 1.41 kg. While neither model has Bluetooth connectivity, they both run the Windows 11 operating system and support the S Pen.
The low latency of the S Pen allows you to write and draw. Samsung Notes software also promises advances in areas like hyperlink support and handwriting recognition. With the proper apps running on the Galaxy device, the apps can sync instantly.
12th Generation Intel Core i7 and Core i5 processors, up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB NVMe SSD storage power the current Galaxy Book2 Pro and Book2 Pro 360. A 63Wh battery powers the Book2 Pro, while a 68Wh battery powers the Book2 Pro 360. Both devices enable 65W USB-C fast charging.
