Alone in the Dark Reboot Announced for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC

Following the leak that occurred hours ago, THQ Nordic and developer Pieces Interactive have officially announced Alone in the Dark. It is a reboot of the 1992 survival horror classic and is being developed for PS5, Xbox Series and PC (Steam).

The release date has not been announced, but the game has been in development since 2019 and is currently in the alpha version.

Anyone attending Gamescom 2022 between August 24 and August 28 will be able to play a teaser called Grace in the Dark, featuring their own original story. It will be a prologue to the main game and will star the character Grace from Alone in the Dark 2.

THQ Nordic hasn’t said whether it intends to make this teaser available outside of the event, but because it’s a separate story, it’s likely that at some point it will.
