It’s been three months since Pieces Interactive and THQ Nordic announced that the new Alone in the Dark will launch on October 25th, and a few things have changed, so many of you may have been expecting to hear that the game has finished development news. The opposite is true.
Alone in the Dark has been delayed until January 16, according to a press release. Pieces followed in the footsteps of Remedy’s Alan Wake 2 delay, and let’s be honest, not only did it happen to get extra polish time, but it also got out of the way of Mr. Wake and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in a very busy October:
“Alone in the Dark will gracefully leave the chaotic October 2023 launch window (…our intention is to avoid competing with Alone’s epic version and avoid the dizzying city adorned by Spider-Man’s graceful swings Skyline.
Pretty easy to understand, but do you think the new release date will make it a success?
