John Guidetti represents a new transfer. Everything indicates that AIK Fotboll from the Swedish Solna will become the tenth club in the career of the 29-year-old striker.
Guidetti and AIK only have to agree on the final contractual details, reports Sportbladet Monday. If everything goes according to plan, he can start the new Allsvenskan season at his new club in early April.
Last week it already leaked that Guidetti has an offer from AIK. The Swedish club wants to take him over on a free transfer from Deportivo Alavés, where his contract expires. The intention is that Guidetti will join in the short term, but whether that will succeed is the question. First, his contract in Spain must be terminated.
Guidetti is now his tenth employer, after periods with IF Brommapojkarna, Manchester City, Burnley, Feyenoord, Stoke City, Celtic, Celta de Vigo, Deportivo Alavés and Hannover 96. He is a 28-time international of Sweden.
