The average age at which a Belgian buys his first house has already risen to 42 years. This is evident from a study by Immotheker Finotheker. In 2007 we were still on average at our 33rd home owner. It should be clear: it is gradually becoming impossible for young people to buy anything. One in three Belgians between the ages of 21 and 35 will never even have their own house.
