Almost a hundred athletes supported a new edition of the Abelardo Lopez crossing which, one more year, had a privileged setting for many as was the Arsenal of the naval city. With the organization of Municipality and the collaboration of Ferrol Marina and Navyand on a perfect day for the development of this event, Jesús Patiño –Ribeira– and Noa Borrazás –Sporting Club Casino– They won the A course –2,000 meters–, with the cedeirés Theo Sanesteban and Alvaro Gomez accompanying Patiño on the podium and Carla Cabana –Sporting– and Blanca Hermida from Ferrol –Marina– doing the same in the women’s category, in this competition that brought together names from categories C, D, E and F.
In it layout B, of a kilometer of route, the Natación Ribeira was the great dominator, with Jeyden Silva and Lucia Ageitos as the first to reach the finish line. Iraide Cebey –Liceo– and Rita Tubío –Boiro– took silver and bronze, respectively, as did Adrián Fernández –Portamiñá– and Antonio Rivas in the men’s category.
The Ferrol test also had an appointment popular, with the victory going to the siblings Clara and Agostiño Reigosa. This event also sought to recognise the oldest participant – Manuel Bouza, aged 64 – and the youngest – Alejandro Farias, aged 7.
