Autumn wheat is expected to have another bumper crop. This year, the Northeast, Huanghuaihai and Northwest regions have a good match between light, temperature and water, and the fall crop growth is the best in recent years.The impact of high temperatures and drought in the south is generally limited.
It is understood that the expansion of the soybean oil plant in my country has achieved remarkable results this year. The national soybean and oilseed production capacity improvement project was launched, the grain and soybean rotation scale was expanded, and the soybean and corn compound plantation was exceeded 15 million mu and the surface area of soybeans has increased considerably. The acreage, unit yield and total production of rapeseed harvested in the summer reached “three increases” and other oil crops such as peanuts and sunflowers showed stable production trends. Autumn and winter plantings are proceeding smoothly: currently 80% of winter wheat and 70% of winter rapeseed are sown.
While the production of cereals and derivatives is stable, the supply of meat, eggs, milk, fruit, vegetables and fish has grown steadily. In the first three quarters, pork production was 41.5 million tonnes, up 5.9% year-over-year. At the end of September, there were 443.94 million pigs alive, an increase of 1.4% year-on-year. Among these, there are 43.62 million breeding sows in the country, which have increased for 5 consecutive months, the production capacity is at a reasonable level and the supply on the market is guaranteed in the following period. At the end of September, the national horticultural area was 94.98 million mu, an increase of 1.5 million mu year on year. Fruits have entered the season of concentrated marketing, with stable yields and rich varieties, and the quality and the safety of agricultural products are constantly being improved.
