Almost 40% of Argentines over 18 already have …

The Ministry of Health reported that four out of 10 over the age of 18 received the first dose of vaccine against him coronavirus in Argentina.

In concrete numbers, the vaccination campaign started the immunization process for 13,223,188 people out of a total of 33,864,636 Argentines and Argentines of legal age, which represents the 39,04%. To that figure must be added the 3,420,581 men and women, who received both doses and completed their vaccination schedule against the coronavirus.

The figures come from Public Vaccination Monitor, with which the Ministry of Health maintains an online and updated registry of the immunization process throughout the country. The monitor specifies that 19,317,490 vaccines were distributed throughout the country as of Monday, of which 16,643,769 have already been applied. This allows us to wait for the accelerated continuity of the vaccination rhythm, with almost 2.5 million vaccines ready to be applied, in addition to the shipment that arrived in the country yesterday with another 900 thousand doses.

According to figures from the Ministry of Health, the five provinces with the highest percentage of their population vaccinated are: Jujuy, 245,977 (43.85%); San Luis, 165,848 (43.06%); La Pampa, 119,887 (43.02%); Tucumán, 512,000 (42.58%) and the City of Buenos Aires 1,181,159 (42.21%). While in total number the first is the Province of Buenos Aires with 4,964,531 vaccinated (39.02%).

In the rest of the provinces the situation regarding vaccination levels is similar: Catamarca, 119,176 (38.61%); Chaco, 320,985 (35.39%); Chubut, 161,184 (35.58%); Córdoba, 1,122,454 (39.51%); Corrientes, 304,828 (36.14%); Entre Ríos, 363,519 (34.74%); Formosa, 171,738 (37.61%); ; La Rioja, 113,993 (40.79%); Mendoza, 587,970 (41.41%); Missions, 294,043 (31.99%); Neuquén, 181,300 (34.07%); Río Negro, 210,356 (36.32%); Salta, 408,771 (40.59%); San Juan, 210,626 (37.96%); , Santa Cruz, 103,102 (39.70%); Santa Fe, 1,028,971 (38.90%); Santiago del Estero, 277,407 (38.41%); Tierra del Fuego, 53,363 (37.89%).
