Almost 2000(!) Scottish infections at European Championships: mainly due to trip to London | European Football Championship

sport">More precisely, 1991 Scots attending a match or other Euro 2020 event between 11 and 28 June have tested positive for the coronavirus.

sport">In 1,294 cases, it concerns people who have traveled to London for the game against England on June 18. 397 of those supporters were also present at Wembley, the stadium where the match took place.

sport">Thousands of Scots had traveled to London for that game, although they were not in possession of a ticket. They watched the game outside or in a cafe.

sport">The number of infections that can be traced back to the fan zone in Glasgow (55) or to the Scottish team’s home games in Hampden Park (75, spread over two games) is limited.
