The second voucher for the purchase of books, aimed at third grade students, is already in the hands of schools. Which means, according to the president of the Municipal Institute of Culture and Tourism of Burgos, Rosario Pérez Pardo, that families will be able to receive it and use it imminently.

In total, the 1963 bonds issued will allow all schoolchildren in the aforementioned year, who study in schools in the city of Burgos, to receive the bond, regardless of whether they are registered or not. Similarly, those students registered in Burgos who study in centers of the alfoz will also receive those 22 euros.

This initiative, which was born in collaboration with the Provincial Association of Booksellers, aims to promote reading in the little ones. Hence, the voucher can only be exchanged for books and not for other types of material.

The first edition made it possible to reach 90% of the third grade schoolchildren. With the second campaign, the intention is to exceed this figure and reach 100%.
The total budget that has been allocated to this initiative is 46,180 euros and families will be able to exchange the bonds until February 23rd.
