Almere City made no mistake in the fight for promotion to the Eredivisie. The number two of the Kitchen Champion Division ran into a backlog at home Young FC Utrecht, but put things in order: 4-1.
Almere City – Jong FC Utrecht 4-1
It was not until the second half that goals were scored in the Yanmar Stadium and surprisingly it was the Utrecht talents who took the lead. Daniel Arzani made it 0-1, but then Almere straightened out quickly. A beautiful goal from Ilias Alhaft meant the equalizing goal, after which the men of Ole Tobiasen continued. By hits from Ryan Koolwijk, Thomas Verheydt and Faris Hammouti, the quartet was even completed.
Almere therefore remains on the trail of leader Cambuur, which won at Telstar earlier in the evening. The Flevolanders are three points behind the leader from Leeuwarden. The lead over De Graafschap and NAC, teams that also compete for direct promotion, is also three points.
ð ?????? What a goal from Ilias Alhaft! Through his equalizing state @almerecityfc now at 2-1.

Helmond Sport – Go Ahead Eagles 0-2
The Eagles already decided the game in Brabant before the break. Antoine Rabillard and Sam Beukema respectively scored the first and second goal for the formation from Deventer, who were then no longer surprised by Helmond. Go Ahead is now eighth in the Kitchen Champion Division, while Helmond drops to fifteen.
