Alma Hätönen returns to Yle. Jussi Eskola

Presenter Alma Hätönen makes a return to Yleisradio. Hätönen says on his Instagram account that he will start Radio Suomen as a new presenter in the fall.

– As the old saying goes: all roads lead to Yle, Hätönen writes on Instagram.

– This spring brought with it an opportunity that I hadn’t even thought about. At the end of a long recruitment process, I was chosen as Radio Suomen’s new presenter, Hätönen is happy.

Hätönen says that he got a permanent job from Yle. Because of this, Hätönen says he will put his own company in the “table drawer”.

– It feels a bit wistful. But when it was in the balance that I would be able to create the most listened to channel in Finland starting from October with absolutely wonderful professionals, the decision was clear. This opportunity had to be seized.

Hätönen got a place to study last fall. Hätönen says that he will continue his studies as a physiotherapist alongside his radio work.

Hätönen worked at YleX between 2013 and 2019. Among other things, he hosted his own afternoon program Jenni Poikelunus with.

After leaving Yle, Hätönen has hosted, among other things, the HitMix radio channel and several Nelonen reality television shows.
