The Allsvenskan season is about to start and Radiosporten’s football expert Richard Henriksson will go through team by team before the premiere by answering three important questions. Now it’s time to present Mjällby.
- What’s the matter with this year’s Mjällby? I am of course curious to see if last year’s fifth place was a passionate craze where everything was right, or if this is a club that can stabilize in the Allsvenskan even when they lost a number of players who did well last year.
- Worrying moment? Christian Järdler is by no means a bad coach. But to go in and fill Marcus Lantz’s shoes after such a football jubilee year as 2020 is a challenge.
- Players to keep track of? Anders Blomqvist. Back in the club where he broke through a few years ago. Since then, it has been a failure in both Ålborg and Norrköping, but I refuse to believe that an inner midfielder with those qualities just lost it. Revenge situation at home in Blekinge.
