Allsvensk countdown: Östersund – Radiosporten is so good

The Allsvenskan season is approaching and Radiosporten’s football expert Richard Henriksson will go through team by team before the premiere by answering three important questions. We go from north to south and thus start with Östersund.

• What’s the matter with this year’s Östersund? Östersund lives in a state of existence compared to a few years ago – now you are the club everyone loves to hate and would rather have out of the series. You can think what you want about the club’s actions on the sidelines, but there is something fascinating in these conditions to be so hated and against all odds try to hang on.
• Worrying moment? It is quite obvious that they have not been able to strengthen the team because the club has a recruitment ban after the irregularities surrounding the deal with Saman Ghoddos a few years ago.
• Players to keep an eye on? Blair Turgott had a good season last year with seven goals scored. I think he can grow further this year and he must probably increase that goal harvest if Östersund is to have an opportunity to save a new contract.
