The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, represented by the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor, Dr. Abdullah Nasser Abuthin, signed with the representative of the Indonesian side, Minister of Manpower, Ida Fawzia, the agreement of the one-channel project to reopen the recruitment of Indonesian domestic workers in Saudi Arabia in several professions, today (Thursday) 13 Muharram 1444 corresponding to August 11, 2022, where recruitment will be available through recruitment companies in conjunction with the date of signing the agreement.
The agreement was signed on the island of Bali, in the presence of the Undersecretary for International Affairs, Dr. Adnan Al-Naim, the technical team from the ministry, and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health, during official visits that included a number of technical meetings between the two sides, to discuss topics of common interest in the labor market and the operational aspects of the project. .
This project comes within the framework of the keenness of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to unify the channel for the recruitment of Indonesian domestic workers, facilitate the recruitment process from Indonesia, protect the rights of all parties to the contractual relationship, and diversify the nationalities of domestic workers to serve the requirements and needs of the Saudi labor market.
