“Alligator Blocks Florida Road: Conservation Worker Steps in to Help”

In Florida, a road had to be closed because of an unusual troublemaker: an alligator.

A road had to be closed in the US state of Florida. As common as the measure was as unusual as its cause: an alligator had thought of one thing: to make itself comfortable on asphalt.

However, the “careless pedestrian” could, according to the police authority West Palm Beach Police Department in a Twitter post, not up to mischief for long.

A worker from the Conservation Agency Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission approached and pulled the troublemaker out of traffic, as can be seen from another police post.

What just rode the alligator?

The post is accompanied by a picture showing the animal rights activist at work. The man sits on the alligator while trying to tame the reptile with a rope.

The question remains, which is also being asked by the West Palm Beach police: “Why did the alligator cross the road?” But that will probably always remain the secret of the “unwary pedestrian”.
