After the conclusion of the regional budget for 2020, with which ten projects were implemented, the municipal alliance Main-Wein-Garten will again have 100,000 euros available in 2021 to support small projects. This emerges from a press release from Allianz.
The funding is intended to support committed, active and independent rural development and to strengthen the regional identity in the eight member municipalities of Erlabrunn, Leinach, Margetshöchheim, Thüngersheim and Zell am Main in the district of Würzburg and Himmelstadt, Retzstadt and Zellingen in the district of Main-Spessart.
The regional budget can be used by municipalities as well as associations, interest groups and private individuals. Small projects with a funding requirement of 500 euros or more are funded, the implementation of which has not yet started and whose total eligible expenditure does not exceed 20,000 euros net, according to Allianz. Selected projects receive funding of up to 80 percent of the eligible costs, with the grant per project capped at 10,000 euros. The deadline for submissions is March 15th.
