Present with an interactive stand, Alliance Assurances participated in the first edition of the CTO Forum, the work of which took place from May 8 to 10, 2023 at the CIC in Algiers. Hassen Khelifati, CEO of Alliance Assurances, hosted a press briefing on Wednesday to discuss the digitalization policy that his company is pursuing and which is no longer a choice but an absolute necessity.
He presented his new product: the innovative mobile application “MyAlliance” which gives access to several remote insurance services. It allows to subscribe but also to declare the claims directly and the follow-up of the file of compensation since the application. He highlighted the need to accelerate digitalization in a context of rapid technological development. For him, “the Algerian has the culture of insurance as long as he finds the right product at the right price and the service corresponding to his expectations”.
He cites the example of car assistance launched in Algeria in April 2007 and which exceeded 4 million out of 6 million vehicles. For Hassen Khelifati, structural reforms are necessary to revitalize the insurance market. The reform must also affect the regulation of the insurance market, which must be independent. The CTO Forum was also for the speaker “an opportunity for exchanges and potential collaborations for fintech players in Algeria from the public and private sectors. Alliance Assurance discussed with the exhibitors for possible future partnerships with ICT players and start-ups”. Khelifati is convinced that the future of insurance lies in the development of insurtechs.
This partly explains his encouragement and above all the great confidence he has placed in the two startups “B-Link Solutions” and “Piassa” which has developed an application which makes it possible to obtain automotive spare parts at advantageous prices. . This allowed it to innovate and take a step ahead in the insurance sector in Algeria. Insurance at the click of a button. Such is the ambition of Alliance Assurance which puts the Algerian citizen at the center of its interest. Through various partnerships, the company continues to support and encourage new start-ups.
