“Allegri’s Tactical Move: Moise Kean and Angel Di Maria to Support Juventus Attack in Europa League Semi-Finals”

SEVILLE – It’s not the first time that Massimiliano Allegri has tried to impresswith a technical-tactical move in a decisive match. The next Allegrata, the one dedicated to Sevilla in the return match of the semi-final of the Europa League, it is Moise Kean in the center of the attack, supported by Angel Di Maria: an idea from yesterday’s evening that in the morning is increasingly turning into a concrete temptation. It is not the first time that Allegri has adopted this solution, in fact there is a precedent for this season in the Europa League.

Kean in the Europa league, the previous one

Kean had been launched, surprisingly, in place of Vlahovic in the return match in Nantes in February, but at the time Allegri did not have the Arek Milik card available, at the time injured and instead regularly among the squad in Seville. In the match on February 23 in France, Max had started with Di Maria behind Kean in the 3-5-1-1, the same solution that seems to want to propose again against Mendilibar’s team: even then the first leg at the Stadium ended with a score of 1-1. In Nantes, on that occasion, the scene was taken by El Fideo Di Maria, with a crazy hat-trick. Kean, on the other hand, hadn’t shone, being replaced by Vlahovic in the second half after less than 20 minutes.

Allegri and trust in Kean

Allegri is not new to these tricks and has always shown that he believes in Keandespite the Vercelli-born striker not always being faultless during the season: from the delay with Atletico Madrid in August to the flash expulsion in 40 seconds with Roma, Kean didn’t miss anything, yet the coach from Livorno continues to trust him. And he could headline the biggest night of the season, at least so far.
