Pangandaran News, (harapanrakyat.com), – A library room at SDN 3 Kertayasa, Cijulang District, Pangandaran Regency caught fire due to burning garbage that spread to the roof of the building at around 13.35 WIB, Monday (12/13/2021).
According to a committee member, Dadang, the cause of the fire started when someone was burning trash around the school library building.
However, because the position of the trash was close to a banana tree where the leaves were dry, the fire spread to the library roof.
“We suspect because the garbage incinerator is close to a banana tree and then the fire spreads upwards because the leaves are dry,” he said.

Not long after the incident, a fire truck arrived at around 14:10 WIB after receiving information from residents.
Luckily there were no casualties in this incident, but the school suffered a loss of around Rp. 10 million.
