Allegedly Deviant ‘Puang Nene’ School in Bone Accused by Two High-ranking Leaders of Prophesying in a Flashy Manner

Bone County Residents, South Sulawesi (South Sulawesi) excited by the appearance of the Puang Nene trend suspected of being heretical. Leaders of the Puang Nene sect claim to be prophets and do not oblige their followers to pray.

“The sects don’t pray, and there are two big bosses who claim to be prophets. If here it is known as the Puang Nene sect,” said Mattirowalie Village Head Andi Swandi as quoted by Antara. detikSulselWednesday (22/3/2023).

Swandi said Puang Nene’s sect is known as the stream from Al Mukarramah on social media. It is suspected that the flow entered Mattirowalie Village, Libureng District, Bone Regency around 2020.

“If I’m not mistaken, it entered in 2020 before COVID-19. Now there are around 40 followers from the people of Bune Village and Mattirowalie Village,” he said.

Swandi added that the activities of the Puang Nene sect had already been rebuked by residents. However, the Puang Nene movement did not stop its activities, aka it continued.

“I was reprimanded before, I thought it had stopped but it was spreading again. The sect was suspected of being heretical,” he explained.
