Alleged recommended prices of individual AMD Ryzen 4000G Pro apus appear online – Computer – News

A slide with the suggested retail prices of some AMD Renoir desktop apus has been released. The figure shows possible dollar prices for six Ryzen 4000G Pro models. It is not yet clear when the chips will become available separately.

The slide with the alleged recommended prices was divided by Twitter user momomo_us, which more often releases information about hardware early. The image shows the dollar prices of some Ryzen Pro models, which include additional security features over the ‘normal’ variants. AMD comes with Ryzen 4000G and GE models, which have a tdp of 65W and 35W respectively. All Renoir apus have an integrated Vega GPU with up to eight compute units.

According to the slide, the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G and 4750GE will be the most expensive models, both priced at $ 309. Converted and with VAT, that equates to approximately 322 euros. As already announced, those apus get eight Zen 2 cores with simultaneous multithreading. The 4650G and GE variants with six cores and twelve threads, in turn, get a suggested retail price of $ 209. That amounts to 218 euros including VAT. The Ryzen 3 Pro 4350G and GE apus with four cores and smt should cost $ 149. That is converted and with VAT about 155 euros. No recommended prices are known for the regular 4000G chips.

AMD announced the Ryzen 4000G apus earlier this week , but for the time being only releases it for system builders. The company already confirmed at that time that the chips would later go on sale separately. The 4000G APUs are similar to the Ryzen 3000 desktop CPUs apart from the integrated GPU. Furthermore, the Renoir chips have less cache and only support PCI-e 3.0.

The Renoir apus are currently for sale at a Dutch webshop. The 4750G is already listed in the Pricewatch € 372,68. Of Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G costs at the time of writing 255,31 euros while the Ryzen 3 Pro 4350G is for sale for 180.29 euros.
