“Alleged perpetrator of two robberies with intimidation in Ponferrada arrested by National Police”

Agents of the National Police of the Ponferrada Police Station (León) have arrested the alleged perpetrator of two robberies with intimidation in commercial establishments, specifically in Chinese bazaars.

The detainee was placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority that agreed to his admission to prison, the National Police reported in a statement sent to Europa Press.

On May 27, several calls were received from commercial establishments located in the center of Ponferrada reporting that they had been victims of robberies with intimidation.

The author, a hooded individual, wearing gloves and dressed in black, threatened the employees with a sharp object and demanded that they hand over money.

Once the author’s description was available and the appropriate steps were taken, the alleged perpetrator of the reported facts was identified and he was arrested and the stolen money recovered.
