Prosecutors for the fight against organized crime headed by Lorenzo Lezcano and police agents carried out an operation in the early hours of the morning of this Saturday in Pedro Juan Caballero where they arrested five alleged members of the PCC.
In the proceedings, a Brazilian man identified as Luis Gustavo Alves Aguilar was arrested, who has an arrest warrant for international drug and arms trafficking, factioned by the government of Brazil to the criminal group First Command of the Capital.
In Alves’ possession, war rifles such as M16 and AK46 were found, which are often used by members of organized crime in the border area.
The raids were carried out in the neighborhood of Villa Teresa or Villa Industrial de Pedro Juan Caballero on the border with Brazil.
The interveners do not rule out that in the next few hours more people could be arrested in other raids in the area.
They arrest an alleged member of the PCC in Pedro Juan Caballero and seize an arsenal.
