Alleged mafia leader who abused young people in Chimbote was captured in Bolivia and brought to Lima

Last Wednesday, April 17, agents of the Bolivian Special Forces to Fight Drug Trafficking detained the Peruvian Maicol Liñán Arroyo, near the Achica Arriba Control Post in Bolivia and he was later expelled from that country, after coordination between the Ministry of Interior of Peru and the Ministry of Government of the neighboring country.

This subject had a red alert issued by Interpol when a current summons and order of preventive detention for nine months was issued against him, issued by the Fourth Preparatory Court of the Court of Justice of Santa in Ancash.

Minister Ortiz Acosta highlighted that, upon learning of the arrest of this undesirable subject, his sector and the National Police coordinated with the police command to immediately activate the air transfer from the border town of Desaguadero in Puno.

Liñán Arroyo arrived in Lima on Thursday night on a flight from the Police Aviation Directorate (Diravpol).

In the next few hours he will be transferred to Áncash to be placed at the disposal of the respective jurisdictional body.
