The investigation into the disappearance and alleged murder of 29-year-old Natalie Jones has been classified as a “high priority” by law enforcement authorities. The case, which has garnered widespread attention, is said to be “huge and complex,” with numerous leads and possible suspects being pursued. As the alleged killer is remanded, the focus shifts to uncovering the truth and delivering justice for Natalie and her loved ones.
Stephen McCullagh, who is accused of murdering 32-year-old Natalie McNally last December, is being investigated as a matter of high priority, a senior prosecutor told Craigavon Magistrates Court. Relatives of McNally were in the public gallery as discussions between the police and prosecutors regarding the investigation and a timeline for its progression were revealed. McCullagh, who is in custody, is accused of stabbing McNally, who was 15 weeks pregnant with his child, in her Lurgan home. The accused, who had been broadcasting on YouTube on the night of the killing, had been de-arrested but was re-arrested after analysis showed the video had been pre-recorded a week earlier. McCullagh is also alleged to have attempted to establish whether or not he was a suspect in the case. The PPS said it expected to receive a report from the police by the summer.
