Darmstadt – Crimes occur again and again, where criminals pose as faith healers. This was also the case recently in Darmstadt: Criminals there defrauded a senior citizen with an alleged miracle cure. They stole cash and jewelry. This is what the police report. Now they are looking for information and asking for information.

Theft of an alleged miracle cure: jewelry is turned into paper

The case occurred on Thursday, October 10th, in the Arheilen district of Darmstadt. Two women gained access to a senior citizen’s apartment between 1 and 2:30 p.m. They are miracle healers. They had money and jewelry handed over to them in the apartment.

Wrapped in cloths, the objects should be “cleaned” with a saying. After the “ritual,” the suspects gave the cloth back to the senior citizen. However, there were no longer any valuables in it, just paper. The women fled with the loot in an unknown direction.

Darmstadt police are searching: two women under suspicion

According to the police, the women were estimated to be between 40 and 45 years old and 1.60 to 1.65 meters tall. According to witnesses, they had an Eastern European appearance and spoke Russian. One suspect was strong and had short black hair, the other was also strong and had shoulder-length dark brown hair.

The police are now asking for relevant information and at the same time warning about the scam. The perpetrators would specifically target Russian-speaking people, as it is sometimes common practice in their circles to contact a healer if they have health problems.
