Four men have to answer before the Olten-Gösgen District Court because of a drug deal that is said to have taken place in the region on April 24, 2020. A Solothurn and a Thurgau from the Albanian culture get to know each other in Liestal while playing illegal poker. They decide they want to pull off a big drug deal. Days later, the man from Solothurn arranged a meeting between the sellers, two brothers from Albania whom the Thurgau buyer had never seen. There was no test of the quality of the drug. Upon delivery, the seller allegedly threw a package containing 650 grams of cocaine into the car. There was no handover of the agreed CHF 26,000. On May 4th, the Solothurn mediator went to the police and denounced the other three. He says he’s being threatened by the seller and he’s scared. The police then searched the house of the buyer in Thurgau, but did not find the slightest trace of cocaine. Nevertheless, the Thurgau is taken into custody for 42 days. The two Albanian brothers have been in security custody for 413 days.
