An alleged car thief was killed by the police in Quezon City after he reportedly tried to draw his gun on them during an operation. The suspect, identified as Yukio Mcfee, was caught attempting to sell a stolen motorcycle to an undercover police asset. Police had been tracking the suspect, who was known for his previous crimes, and were also able to recover a revolver, cash, and several identification cards from his body. The victim of Mcfee’s latest crime was able to identify the suspect on the scene. Roderic Selvio was a habal-habal driver whose motorcycle had been stolen by Mcfee at knifepoint, with Mcfee also taking his cellphone and P4,700 in cash. Selvio claimed that Mcfee was his fourth or fifth victim, and that he was glad that karma had caught up with him. The QCPD director praised Selvio for his bravery in pursuing the case against Mcfee.
