In an operation carried out by elements of the 12th police station of the National Civil Police (PNC), Yoshua René de Paz Cifuentes, 19, and Aillary Samara Barrientos Barneo, 24, were arrested when they were riding a motorcycle on the main street. from San Jose del Golfo, Guatemala.
The police entity reported that a firearm was seized from the detainees with a report of theft, an event that occurred on February 14 of this year. Likewise, the motorcycle with license plates M-718DJM, which has a theft report dated June 13 in the Las Ilusiones neighborhood.
According to residents of the sector, Barrientos Barneo and Paz Cifuentes, they are alleged assailants who operate in the place described above. For this reason, the investigation in relation to this case continues.
The authorities of the Ministry of the Interior reiterate the call for people to file their complaint to line 110 of the PNC, because it is essential to prevent the registration of illegal acts that threaten the integrity and patrimony of the citizenry.
