Allegations of Financial Misconduct by Veena Vijayan’s Exalogic Company: CMRL Money, Taxes, and Political Fund

Thiruvananthapuram: Mathew Kuzhalnadan has alleged that Veena Vijayan’s Exalogic company took more money from CMRL. Mathew Kuzhalnathan said that Veena’s company bought Rs 42,48,000 in the years 2017, 2018 and 2019. He also alleged that this is in addition to the 1.72 crore purchased earlier.

Rs.6 lakhs has also been paid as tax on Rs.42 lakhs purchased from CMRL. However, he also alleged that Veena Vijayan did not pay tax on the Rs 1.72 lakh he bought from CMRL. If tax has been paid, its records should be released. He also said that Veena Vijayan evaded the IGST of Rs 30 lakh due on the transaction.

Either way, it must be admitted that Veena Vijayan bought Rs 1.72 crore as a political fund. He also asked them to admit that no tax was paid on the purchase money. He said that a complaint has been made to Finance Minister KN Balagopal in this regard.
