Defendants in Sister Abhaya murder case get life sentence. Fr. Thomas Kottur was sentenced to double life imprisonment and Sister Sefiq to life imprisonment for murder. Fr. Thomas Kottur was fined Rs 6.5 lakh and Sister Sefi Rs 5.50 lakh. The Thiruvananthapuram CBI court also ordered that the convicts should be sentenced together.
