Thiruvananthapuram: CPIM politburo may look into allegations against LDF convener EP Jayarajan. PB investigates P Jayarajan’s allegations of illegal property acquisition. The Politburo will meet tomorrow and the day after.
As it was a pre-arranged meeting, the Jayarajan issue was not included in the agenda. But as the PB is expected to take action on the complaints against the Central Committee member, the matter is likely to be re-examined.
P Jayarajan had yesterday accused EP Jayarajan in the state committee of illegally acquiring property. It was alleged that EP Jayarajan ran a crore scam by hiding a private company called Kannur Ayurveda Medical Care Limited. After the news came out, Fr. Jayaran replied that he did not want to share the discussions that took place within the party. EP Jayarajan had denied the allegation.
