Tony Schiavone & Nigel McGuinness welcome the audience to the final collision before the AEW All Out 2024 pay-per-view and recap the scenes of “Hangman” Adam Page, who set fire to Swerve Strickland’s parents’ house at the end of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday. Schiavone explains that the Page vs. Swerve match will be a “Lights Out Steel Cage Match”. We see the cage directly above the ring. Schiavone and McGuinness talk. McGuinness makes it clear that AEW cannot be held responsible for anything, which is why the Steel Cage Match will be an “Unsanctioned Match”.

Video: Footage is shown of Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir arriving at the arena earlier in the day.

The commentators promote Rampage and the AEW All Out Countdown Special, which airs after Collision – they go over the All Out 2024 match card and then promote some matches from tonight’s show.

Ring announcer Arkady Aura is trying to make the announcements for the opening match when Lance Archer attacks Mark Briscoe from behind on the stage and punches him into the ring…

1. Match

Mark Briscoe defeated Lance Archer after the third Froggy Bow – Briscoe was bleeding heavily from his forehead (12:40)

Chris Jericho, Big Bill and Bryan Keith cut a backstage promo. Jericho explains that their group, the Conglomeration, works like a well-oiled machine in which each person is an important cog. Jericho says that Tomohiro Ishii is one of his favorite opponents and he would love to face him again, but now is not the time. Bill adds that time is running out for every man, to which Keith adds, “Especially this one.” The camera pans to Ishii, who is lying on the floor in front of the trio with a chair around his neck.

The Grizzled Young Veterans make their entrance while their opponents are already waiting in the ring…

2. Match
Tag Team Match
The Grizzled Young Veterans: Zack Gibson & James Drake besiegten Iron Savages: Bronson & Boulder (w/ Jacked Jameson) nach dem Grit Your Teeth gegen Boulder (3:15)

After the match, FTR, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler appear in street clothes. FTR enters the ring and brawls with the Grizzled Young Veterans. Gibson is eventually thrown out of the ring. FTR prepares for her finisher, but Gibson manages to pull Drake out of the ring in time. Jameson tries to celebrate with FTR, but is taken down with a Shatter Machine.

A video airs about Will Ospreay and Pac battling for the AEW International Championship at All Out.

Backstage, Lexi Nair interviews Orange Cassidy. Cassidy says he’s going to go to the ring and punch Bryan Keith in the face. He adds that he’s going to win the AEW Continental Championship and put it in his backpack, right next to the $7,000 in cash he’s willing to pay Jericho if Keith defeats him for ruining his jacket. Cassidy makes his entrance, followed by Bryan Keith, who comes out alone.

3. Match

Orange Cassidy defeated Bryan Keith after the second DDT (11:15)

Chris Jericho is backstage outside Orange Cassidy’s dressing room. Jericho claims he won’t get his $7,000, so he’ll take something else. Jericho picks up Cassidy’s backpack and announces that he wants to keep it until Cassidy gives him the money. He threatens to cut the backpack with scissors.

TBS Champion Mercedes Moné and Kamille are interviewed by Lexi Nair backstage. Nair mentions that Kamille was banned from the ring during Moné’s title match against Hikaru Shida at All Out. Moné wonders why Christopher Daniels is meddling in her affairs. She adds that Kamille may be banned on Saturday, but definitely not tonight…

4. Match
Tag Team Match
The Outrunners: Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd (w/ Erica Leigh) defeated Davey Bang & August Matthews after the Total Recall of the Outrunners against Matthews (2:15)

Backstage: Renee Paquette interviews Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander before their Chicago Street Fight at All Out. Paquette asks Statlander why she turned against her best friend. Statlander explains that she gave Willow a shot at the TBS title and no one was there for her when she lost the belt. She emphasizes that she never got a rematch for the title and then Willow won the belt.

Willow talks about how hard she’s worked and reminds Statlander that she was there for her, but Statlander says Willow could have given her a title shot. Willow asks if Stokely Hathaway was in Statlander’s ear the whole time. Willow then firmly states that the only thing that matters now is that Statlander pays for her actions. Statlander replies that she’s glad it’s a Street Fight because she can give Willow physical scars in addition to emotional ones.

5. Match

Konosuke Takeshita (w/ Don Callis) defeated The Beast Mortos after the Raging Fire falcon Arrow (12:04)

After the match, Callis goes to the ring and hugs Takeshita.

Backstage, we see Saraya and Harley Cameron issuing a warning to Jamie Hayter. Saraya explains that Hayter has messed with the wrong people and she will soon feel the consequences.

AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May cuts a backstage promo proudly announcing her upcoming title celebration. She states that AEW needs more glamour and hints that she is the one who will bring that glamour to the Women’s Division. Her title celebration may take place at All Out.

6. Match
Hikaru Shida defeated Deonna Purrazzo after the katana (9:25)

After the match, Mercedes Moné comes on stage and performs her signature dance before marching to the ring. Kamille follows Shida into the ring and knocks her down from behind with a powerful forearm. Moné enters the ring and picks up Shida’s kendo stick. When Moné tries to hit Shida with the striking weapon, Shida ducks and Moné hits Kamille instead.

Shida uses the moment to take Moné to the ground and removes Kamille from the ring. Shida then incapacitates Moné with a backstabber and follows with her finisher, the katana.

Backstage, FTR: Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler are interviewed by Alicia Atout. Harwood explains that The Grizzled Young Veterans remind him of a less talented and not so good-looking version of FTR. He takes the opportunity to challenge the veterans to a match next week at Collision.

Backstage: Lexi Nair interviews The Acclaimed, consisting of Max Caster and Anthony Bowens, who are accompanied by Billy Gunn. Caster proudly presents his “Best Wrestler Alive” jacket. Suddenly, MxM Collection, Mason Madden and Mansoor, appear. They try to do their “Just the Tip” routine, but Billy Gunn intervenes and grabs their fingers, interrupting the moment.

7. Match
Eight-Man Tag Team Match
PAC and The Blackpool Combat Club: Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta defeated The Elite: Jack Perry, Kazuchika Okada and The Young Bucks: Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson after the Giant Swing/Dropkick combination by Castagnoli & Yuta against Nicholas – during the match Jack Perry fled and Bryan Danielson followed him, so the match continued as a Trios Tag Team Match – the match went beyond the show and continued at Rampage (28:48)
